Cordless vacuum cleaner

Lupe saw a gap in the market where the convenience of a small cordless package could truly meet the cleaning performance of a larger mains-powered machine.

With ambitious targets across performance, size, aesthetics and ease of maintenance (not least because of the EU’s ‘Right to Repair’ legislation), our approach was necessarily all-encompassing.

Working closely with Lupe’s small project team, we worked end-to-end, from layout through individual part design and all the way to manufacture. The Lupe Pure Cordless combines a unique layout, clever user interactions and powerful suction. The wider impact of the Pure was also well considered in manufacture, use and end-of-life.

Alongside being the largest ever crowd-funding campaign for a vacuum cleaner, the Pure cordless also went on to become an A’ Design Award Winner.
